The whole world stood up and took note of how some one could possible make a real car with in Rs. One lakh(approx 2500 dollars). The birth of the Nano was not with out controversy with the Trinamool congress and other activists protesting against the Tata nano factory in Singur in West Bengal. Keeping in mind the safety of the employees working in the factory, Ratan Tata decided to move the factory out of Singur and to Sanand in Gujarat.

Then the car was shown to a world audience in Geneva and it received great reviews. Now the time has come when the car has formally been launched and the day when Tata Nano’s will be visible all across the country is not too far away.
