The tata nano may be an Indian car made by Indian car manufacturers but it is set to travel the world. The tata nano europa is set to hit the european market in the early part of 2011 and will also be available in India at about the same time. Now the Nano will compete at being the cheapest and the most efficient car all across the world. The differences between the Indian make and the europa model are not too many and are clearly visible.
The car has the same design but has a sporty feel to it. To begin with the Nano Europa is larger and wider than its Indian brother. The rear is different in shape. And different 14 inch tyres will be provided in this machine. The car will have a five speed automated gear box and the top speed will be higher than that of the Indian variant. With pollution becoming a major cause for concern, the Tata Nano Europa can claim to be one of the least polluting cars in the world with it releasing carbon di oxide just of the magnitude of 98 gms per km.

The tata nano europa will be manufactured in the sanand facility in Gujarat. The facility is yet to get underway. Post the controversy in Singur in West Bengal, Tata motors plant has now shifted to sanand in Gujuarat. Come 2011 tata nano europa will make its way on to the European streets and India can be proud of the achievement of having the world’s cheapest car driving in foreign countries as well.
